Description:
Introduce a feature in Mosaic for Confluence Cloud that allows tab selections to be synchronized across multiple tab groups on the same page. This would let users link tab groups by a shared class or identifier, so selecting a tab in one group automatically updates the selection in all others with the same identifier. The goal is to improve usability and layout flexibility, especially for use cases involving repeated structures like multi-column layouts or language switching.
Example Use Case:
A team is using Mosaic tabs to display content in multiple languages (“EN” and “DE”) across several columns on a page. Due to current limitations with Confluence macros and layouts, they must place separate tab groups in each column. As a result, users have to manually click the same language tab in each section to view the content consistently.
With this proposed feature, selecting the “EN” tab in one group would automatically switch all related tab groups to “EN”, streamlining the user experience and supporting more advanced content presentation.
